Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information everyspacesorted.com collects, how it’s used and the choices you have. It takes effect on the date shown above.

The short version

  • The calculators run in your browser. What you type into them isn’t sent to us.
  • The printables download directly, with no account, sign-up or email address.
  • There are no accounts, newsletters or forms on the site.
  • Google Analytics counts visits so we can see which pages help. It never receives what you type into a tool.
  • We don’t sell personal information.

What you type into the tools

Measurements, labels, names and anything else you enter into a calculator or a printable you customize stay in your browser. They aren’t uploaded anywhere, and they aren’t saved: when you leave the page, they’re gone. When a tool builds a PDF for you, it builds it on your device.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to read and answer your message, and we don’t add you to a mailing list. Ask us at any time to delete your messages.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical information about each visit, such as your IP address and the pages requested. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for how it handles that information.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4, a service from Google, to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive (for example from Pinterest or a search engine), the kind of device and browser, a general location (country and city, worked out from your IP address, which Google Analytics doesn’t store), page speed measurements, and clicks on the “Save” link and on printable downloads. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to tell visits apart. It never receives what you type into a calculator or a printable you customize.

Google signals and ad personalization are turned off for analytics, and analytics data is kept for 14 months. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off by default.

Google describes its own use of this data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. To opt out of Google Analytics on every site, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

The site doesn't show ads today. Before ads start, this policy will be updated to name the ad network, what it collects and the choices you have, including how to opt out of personalized ads.

The site uses Google’s Consent Mode to set what Google’s tags may store before they load. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, nothing is stored until you agree. Elsewhere, measurement is on by default, and it’s turned off when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. The site’s own code sets no cookies and saves nothing on your device. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to tell visits apart, and once ads run, the ad network may set cookies to show and measure ads, within the consent settings above.

Articles link to product pages on Amazon, and the “Save” button on a page opens Pinterest. Both are plain links: nothing from Amazon or Pinterest loads on this site until you click, and their own privacy policies apply once you’re there. Every Space Sorted doesn’t use affiliate links.

Children

Every Space Sorted is meant for adults and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

How to opt out

  • Clear this site’s data in your browser settings to delete the analytics cookies.
  • Block cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or with an extension that supports it.
  • Ask us to delete any email you’ve sent.

US state privacy rights

Depending on the state you live in, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Utah, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to ask for it to be deleted or corrected, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted ads. Every Space Sorted doesn’t sell personal information. To use any of these rights, email hello [at] everyspacesorted.com.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. If a change affects what we collect or how we use it, we’ll say so at the top of this page.
