About Every Space Sorted
Published
Every Space Sorted helps you organize your home one space at a time: the pantry that never stays tidy, the closet that’s full but somehow has nothing to wear, the entryway where the shoes pile up. Everything here is free: room-by-room ideas, cleaning routines, printable checklists and simple calculators.

What you’ll find here
- Ideas room by room for the kitchen and pantry, closets and clothes, bedrooms and kids’ rooms, the bathroom and laundry, the entryway and living room, and the home office, garage and more.
- Decluttering and routines that break a big job into small steps you can finish: what to let go of first, how often to clean what, and how to reset a room in a few minutes.
- Free printables you download as a PDF and print at home: cleaning schedules, checklists, planners and labels.
- Calculators for the measuring questions, like which bins and baskets fit a shelf before you buy them.
Meet Sadie Wrenfield

Every Space Sorted is written by Sadie Wrenfield. Sadie writes for people who want a home that’s easier to keep tidy, without a big budget or a whole weekend lost to a project. Every page starts from a question people ask, such as how to fit more into a small pantry or what to declutter first, and answers it right away.
The same principles guide every page:
- Declutter before you organize. Fewer things are easier to store, so most systems start with letting go.
- Give everything a home. A set spot for each thing is what keeps a space tidy after the first clean-up.
- Measure before you buy. Bins and baskets only help when they fit the shelf, so the measuring comes first.
- Small steps beat big weekends. Ten minutes a day keeps a space sorted longer than one big push.
- Use what you have. Containers you already own come first, and new ones only when they solve a real problem.
- Keep it realistic. The systems are meant for busy homes with kids, pets and full schedules, not for a photo shoot.
How the tools work
You enter your measurements and what you want to store, and the calculator works out what fits: which standard bin and basket sizes fit a shelf, a drawer or a cubby, and how many fit side by side. Under every result, “How we calculate” shows the math and the assumptions, such as the room left above a bin so you can lift it out. The tools run in your browser, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
The printables are one-page PDFs sized for US Letter paper, with light lines that are easy on printer ink. You can download them straight from their page, no sign-up needed.
No paid recommendations
Every Space Sorted doesn’t use affiliate links and doesn’t accept payment for coverage. When an article links to a product on Amazon, it’s a plain link: the site earns nothing if you buy, and no brand pays to be mentioned. Any income comes from display ads on the pages, never from what you buy.
What this site isn’t
Every Space Sorted is general information, not professional advice. A page can’t see your home, so measure your own space, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and weight limits for shelves, hooks and furniture, and anchor tall furniture to the wall, especially in a home with children. The disclaimer has the details.
